The Venetian Castle is the oldest settlement of Chora and it’s built on the brink of a cliff, with strong elements of Cycladic Architecture. Chrysospilia is located in the northeastern part of the island. It is a cave of great archaeological interest and anyone can safely go there by taking a small boat from the port. Panagia is the biggest and most important church of Folegandros, built on a rock just above Chora, dedicated to the Assumption. From Karavostasi port small boats will ferry you to secluded beaches with unspoiled natural beauty and crystal clear waters.
In Ano Meria, the second most important village of the island, you can visit the folk Art Museum, you can go to beaches through small trails as well as taste the traditional matsata.
